Hi, Im from Manufacturing line, facing problems in controlling OT. I would like to seek advise from all on how to control the OT for production. Other than that Should HR request production to make Budget for OT every month, then compare with the OT data in the payroll every end of month ?

You may do so if production able to provide a budget.OT should be approved by the HOD based on actual requirement. In your case, the factory manager must access the necessity of OT and production workers hv to pre-apply by filling out the OT request form and countersign by Supervisor and approved by HOD
