Can we issue low performing staff with a warning letter?

Can we straight issue her a warning instead of serving her show cause as we have contacted KPI review in the month of June 19 and conducted PIP from Aug till November 2019. But apparently her 2 ex-superiors are too lenient to her that does not really point out her weakness in her PIP and both ex-superiors have resigned.

If u happen to hv something to proof that he got a sales target and not achieving it, its OK to issue him a stern warning. Mentioned again in ur letter that the failure of previous superior does not mean that u r condoning the situation. From now on tell his performance shall be monitored n his target is still on.
