I would say in this current situation, it would be hard to find job and you need to fight for the position with other people. However what I could recommend, do check your resume or ask your friend to review your resume and asked about their opinion. It's good if you can ask professional view as well.

Other than that, you need to re-check back the job that you're applying. Is it the right job for you? Is it a different fields compare to your working experience?
