I wish to change to another industry totally different from what I am doing currently.

I do not have the necessary working experience and may need to start all over or as an internship with the company (of the new industry). However, I had taken course certification in the new field. Would appreciate some advice on this.

Hi, from a different perspective I can share that I am someone who did exactly what you were considering. I'm a qualified lawyer who was in practice for a couple of years before I decided to move from law into business and management education working for a few companies. Today I run my own business. I switched industries/ career paths and have had no regrets since.

Hi, I assume you’re asking how to change industries? Apart from being willing to start as a junior again, make sure you design your CV to focus on why you’re suitable for this new role, rather than too much on what you did before (unless it’s highly relevant). I see many people make the mistake of still focusing on past experience that is irrelevant (because they think it’s a waste), but remember, a recruiter decides whether to interview you or not in less than 10 seconds from glancing through your CV.

How many years of work experience do you have? What are you working as atm? And which industry are you trying to get into? I have worked in multiple industries and have switched multiple times, so some context would be useful for me to offer advice.
