How to know if it's true employee really want to sue company

From time to time, I’ve received calls from Agency A saying that one of my employees had court case and must get the employee to contact the lawyer, if not they will sue our company. I heard it is just a tactic, can they really do that?

You should call the employee to settle by himself and not let the outside party call to office due to his personal matter.

Normally, call from court or legal authority direct contact the employee instead of his/ her company.

If you guys received a call so called from the court, please don't believe it. It's a fake call.

Ask the staff direct deal with them since is their personal matter.

They can sue the company, but for what? Lawsuits is not easy, especially Civil Lawsuits. If there is no Prima Facie for the case, it will be thrown out by the court.
