Is it ok to ask HR for vacancy ? I previously rejected their offer.

I received a job offer one year ago and i rejected it. After working for a year now, I resigned due to misaligned of interst with my present position. May i know is it ok that I ask the HR that offered me a job one year ago for job opportunities?

If you feel comfortable to ask, why not? But be prepared they might give you a black face.

For most of the times, it is not a good idea. But in times of desperation, you have nothing to lose except your "mian zi". But of course, you won't be their most favourable candidate.
