I understand that you are in a difficult situation. It seems that you were offered a new position while still in training at your current company, but you declined it because you were comfortable with your original position. Your HR department then suggested transferring you to another branch if you wanted to stay in your current role, to which you reluctantly agreed. However, you were asked to sign an agreement for the position you initially rejected, and now you are bound by a 15-week notice period. You are concerned about facing penalties if you resign early. It's important to carefully review the agreement you signed to understand the terms and conditions regarding resignations. If you find that the notice period is indeed 15 weeks, you may need to discuss this matter further with your HR department. Open communication is key to resolving conflicts and finding a solution. Explain your concerns and express your desire to find a resolution that works for both parties. They might be open to negotiating a shorter notice period or finding an alternative solution. It's important to approach the conversation in a respectful and professional manner. Remember, HR is there to support you and find the best outcome for all involved. Good luck!
