Waalaikumussalam! It is generally acceptable to send a resignation letter or notice even if you have only worked for 1 day. However, it is important to consider the terms and conditions mentioned in the working contract that you have signed with the company. If there are any specific clauses regarding the notice period, it would be advisable to adhere to those guidelines. If you are unsure about the terms of the contract because you didn't have a chance to review it, it would be best to consult with the company's HR department or a legal professional to understand your rights and obligations. They will be able to provide you with the accurate information based on the specific situation. In regards to being blacklisted by Pejabat Buruh (Labour Office), it is unlikely for such a short period of employment. However, it is essential to maintain a good professional relationship with your employer and provide a valid reason for your resignation. It is recommended to discuss your situation politely and professionally with your employer to come to a mutual understanding, even if you need to resign on short notice. Open communication is typically appreciated by employers and can help to avoid any potential negative consequences in the future.Remember, each situation can be unique, and it is always recommended to seek professional advice or refer to local labor laws for a better understanding of your rights and obligations in such scenarios. I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
