What can I do when company asked me to pay amount of money because I resigned within 24 hour?

I have concerns. I've resigned within 24 hrs. This is because of depression, stress and breathing difficulties where I have to admit in hospital for 15 days and underwent a surgery. All this medical issues happened due to work. Recently I received an email from HR saying I owe the bank Rm5K and need to pay the bank ASAP because I tender notice within 24hrs not 1 month as stated in employment contract. I am still unemployed. What can be done?

I notice 50% -60% of young employees in X-Y generations rushed without thinking the consequences submitting resignation letter following letter offer/ confirmed in the terms & conditions stated procedures. Please leave in good profile person, whatever reason is happy or angers. Don’t be surprised if u join another company (the new boss/manager) may happen to know your ex boss/manager. Can u be sure the ex boss will not share your attitudes to the new boss. I can said this sharing coz a few employers I worked truly happened to my directors between the new & old employers.
