The offer letter is the proof that you are has been hired for that company. Ask them for offer letter, if not, they can change any regulations without your consent. Every company is compulsory to give you an offer letter.

You have to book a date with the HR, and ask regarding the offer letter. Go to the company and meet the HR in person to sign the offer letter before start working for the company.
