Can company hold their workers salary?

Nak tanya, kawan saya kena retrencehd dengan company dia, tapi company dia nak hold gaji sebab dia ada tersalah order item yang agak mahal tapi dah expired date. Boleh ke macam tu eh?

You can see if there is a case for constructive dismissal. It means the company purposely make a case to dismiss her. She needs all the evidence available to back her case, and bring it to the industrial court. If she is anyway involved then details about how she has escalated this to her manager n email correspondence that she did her job honestly and diligently. Lots of proof to nail the company. Lots of negativity but there is a choice to let go, or to take action.
