B4 DI, you can suspend the workers max 14 days (if in the DI, he is guilty then no need paid him the 14 days suspend salary. If he not guilty, need paid him.

Mostly my side suspend 7 days max. If really dont want him, 14 days he sure look other jobs and might no show in DI. If no Show up on DI, your DI still need to go on without him. Then submit the info to Labor with all suspend letter etc as to back up company. Mostly no show mean they dont want get dismissal by company felt malu.
