Company Required Re-sign Employment Letter !!!

Previously, the company had implemented a new policy on the employee salary. They divided our salary into 60%, 10% and 30%.

  1. 60% is the fixed amount that will be paid each month.

  2. 10% is based on our attendance.

  3. 30% is based on our performance of that month.

Now, they required us to re-sign the employment letter that included this policy. Is this illegal and can I refuse to re-sign the employment letter?

It is not illegal for a company to require employees to re-sign an employment letter with updated policies. However, as an employee, you have the right to review the new terms and conditions before signing. If you have concerns about the new salary policy, you can discuss it with HR or seek advice from a legal professional. Ultimately, you can choose to refuse to sign the employment letter if you are not comfortable with the new terms.
