Is it possible to leave current company without completing the notice period?

I am currently resigning from a job as I got a new job offer. But the new company requires me to start earlier. This makes me not able to complete my 2 months notice in my current company. If this is the case, is it possible for me to leave the current company without completing the notice period? What should I do if my manager does not want to release me early when I render my resignation? Thanks.

You can try to do your part to talk to your current employer & also to maximise your leaves. But on the other hand, If the company that you are about to join cant understand that you'll need to serve notice period, i would recommend you to stay away from such company. It's a good indication they dont care about you.
