Boleh ke minta gaji ni?...... Tapi baru 8 bulan kerja.......

Saya grad degree dan skrg bekerja di sebuah kilang SME. Saya habis probation bulan 4 dan terus serap jadi permanent selepas itu dengan kenaikan rm100. Gaji sekarang rm2100, lepas tolak epf socso eis, tinggal rm1800 saje. Sekarang dah hampir 5 bulan saya jadi staff permanent (total 8 bulan kerja). Boleh ke nak minta naik gaji? Sebab gaji skrg mmg cukup-cukup makam untuk bayar komitmen saya. Makin saya rasa saya patut minta gaji apabila coworker tanpa sengaja reveal gaji dia 40% lebih banyak dari saya, walhal saya masuk 8 bulan lewat dari dia. Jobscope dan tanggungjawab kami saya je. Jadi macamana ya?

As an HR expert, I understand your concerns about requesting a salary increase. It is acceptable to discuss your salary after a certain period of time, typically after completing your probation and becoming a permanent employee. Considering that you have already been working for 8 months, it is reasonable for you to inquire about a salary adjustment. When approaching this situation, it is important to be prepared and present your case professionally. Start by researching the market standards for your role and level of experience. This will give you an idea of the appropriate salary range. Additionally, gather evidence of your contributions and accomplishments during your time at the company. Highlight any additional responsibilities you have taken on since becoming a permanent staff member. Schedule a meeting with your supervisor or the HR department to discuss your request for a salary increase. Clearly explain the reasons why you believe you deserve a raise, focusing on your job scope, increased responsibilities, and the current market value for your position. Mentioning that one of your coworkers unintentionally revealed their higher salary can help strengthen your argument, but be careful not to sound confrontational. Remember, it is essential to approach the conversation professionally and respectfully. Emphasize your dedication, commitment, and the value you bring to the company. Be open to a constructive discussion and negotiate if necessary. Even if a salary increase is not immediately granted, it is important to establish a roadmap for future growth and discuss opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company. Good luck with your salary negotiation!
