Procedure of PERKESO Covid-19

Want to ask questions about PERKESO covid-19 testing

1. Does the contract worker need to conduct a covid-19 test before resuming work?

2. How long does it take to perform the test?

3. Do I need to pay?

4. Where do I need to apply and what documents i need to prepare?

5. How long does the approval process take? If approved, how to check?

6. Can I go to work immediately after the test?

7. Do new employees who have not yet contributed to socso need to perform this test?  Thank you all for your answers

PETALING JAYA All foreign workers are now required to undergo Covid-19 tests that employers will have to pay for, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The Senior Minister said this was decided after the rise of Covid-19 cases in the country over the past few days, the majority comprising foreign workers.
