Need advice on employee's salary during nationwide lockdown.

Hi team, need your advise, in the event of a nationwide lockdown, can the employers just pay the basic salary only and not paying the allowances

we have daily attendance and monthly perfect attendance allowances, and they are looking to remove those allowances as most of the employees are factory operators and will be at home
