What should I do if the staff wanted to claim Socso?
If the staff want to claim Socso, they ask us to fill in form 34, can we fill in their blank form that they forward to us or they have to fill in their details first only then we can sign & chop?
During induction or better procedure is to state that attendance capturing will be done using thumb print system. Should employee do not register attendance using the system, then employer may have to either refuse payment on that day or initiate disciplinary measures. Should employer delay the payment of salary due to the need to check the actual attendance of the employee, still employer have the right to take disciplinary measures on the employee(provided the earlier procedure being make known to them). I would advise you to personally talk with those who failed to record their attendance and advise the consequences. Should the matter still arise to the same employee (stubborn) then initiate disciplinary action. NEVER CONDONE such act as it is the basis of you capturing info on their attendance and may lead to unnecessary preceedence later on

I will fill in for the staff to avoid mistakes but the staff has to sign the form.

Michael. For retiree, to ensure that there will not be much hassle of claiming continuous employment attracting TLB, get the person to write in his application for the job. Btw, those employ after 60, socso contribution is also diff ya.

We have done a few cases, we normally do it jointly, unless candidate is incapicated due to injury, than we have to help them fill it up.

This form is our responsibility to ensure all info provided there are true n correct. Do not simply sign the form if it is given to you by the employee. Check 1st all the details that employer should know as if the case is refer to Jemaah Rayuan Keselamatan Sosial, we do not want to look not knowing what is being fill up in the form.
