Should we pay double for part timer work on public holiday?

If we hire event promoter for RM100 per day for 10 days and it is included one of the public holiday we should pay the promoter RM300 for he work on the public holiday is it?

we are aware of the part timer EPF contribution.

Deal with them now... Even PH pay is still same . Not x 3

dont forget actually they entitled for epf contribution.. most of company dint realise it
