Shall we pay double rate for the public holiday which is not fall under the chosen 11 days of gazetted public holiday?

We have over 11 days of gazetted public holiday in Malaysia. But, only 11 days of gazetted public holiday is entitled to be the paid holiday. The rest of the holidays are required to work.

Ya, perlu dipertimbangkan untuk bayaran berganda pada hari perayaan atau pun hari cuti kelepasan am kepada pekerja. Adalah salah satu daripada galakan insentif kepada pekerja untuk bekerja dengan lebih giat di dalam sektor pekerjaan.

If your company has clearly indicated in the policy and/or appointment letter that only 11 days are recognised as PH, then if PH falls on other than this 11 days, you don't have to give leave nor pay the PH rate if work is performed as this day shall be deemed as normal working day.
