According to labour laws, an employee who is in probation is entitled to a notice period of two weeks. However, if your employment contract specifically states a notice period of one month, it would be advisable to adhere to the terms of the contract. In this situation, if your employer has not been paying your EPF contributions for two months, it is important to address this issue separately. You may want to consider discussing it with your employer or seeking advice from the relevant authorities to ensure that your entitlements are being fulfilled. Resigning with a notice period of two weeks or one month should not impact your right to receive the unpaid EPF contributions.
