Normally organization should not discriminate smoker or non smoker. In the end it will back to the experiences and education of the candidate/employee. If your experiences is relevant for job, high chance you can get a job. Unless they provide policy that hiring for non smoker only then the job description must mention clearly before they post in the advertisement. Hope information given is workable to you.

Actually smokers and non smokers has no difference. But my company tend to hire more non-smokers than smokers.
