embarking to a new job

Hi guys. So I got offered a job and the pay is Rm1,000 higher than my previous one. But our boss is a chinaman.There is a clause about working on the weekends and public holiday if necessary. Wondering what's your thoughts about this? I'm a bit worry cause my first job was the same and basically we had to work for almost every weekend at that company. Any advice? The only thing I like is that the company has more senior developers and basically I can learn more from those people.

Just accept it first. 1k increment is quite good

Then I shall assume that you will have to stick to some key deliverables deadline, hence the requirement to work until task is complete.

It's fine. Give it a shot, alot company have this clause but not necessary need to do. Just in case business needs then

No dispute when service is required. Better to have the understanding now rather than a memo later.
