I have worked for the past 6 months in this company and they did not want to confirm me after my probation.

It was definitely disappointing since my performance was underwhelming and I had to resign from the position. What would be the best answer to explain my situation to future recruiters?

Morning, personally I want you to know that sometimes what didn’t worked for you in Company A doesn’t mean I won’t worked for you in Company B. Just gotta stay positive and do some self-reflection on what perhaps went wrong, start applying to either different roles or if you still think that that’s the right role for you, find ways to close those gaps. In terms of explaining to future recruiters, I guess you gotta be smart about things. Honesty is good but if you were to explain about you not confirming due to performance issue, that will only reduce your chances on securing the next job cause recruiters may not know you’re a go-getter or a hard worker in your previous workplaces.

List down 5 reasons why you were underwhelming and do 5 things to counter each one of them. You'll need to be truthful to break it down according to: 1) attitude, 2) skills, 3) fit, 4) ability to learn, 5) other factors. Luckily, you're still young and will still get second chances if you have a positive attitude to improve constantly based on introspection.
