Hi, my offer letter did not state any probation period. But the employer did mentioned about probation to me. Notice period is 3 months but now I am planning to leave the company after 1 month joining

I got a better offer and I’m required to join the new job ASAP.

As the notice period is 3 months, you will be required to work or pay in lieu for the 3 months if you need to leave earlier. I suggest you have a chat with your superior or HR and negotiate for them to release you earlier. All the best.
