As an HR expert, I understand your concerns about not receiving an offer letter or notice period from your current company. It is important to have a formal contract in place to avoid any confusion or disputes regarding employment terms and conditions. In this situation, since no contract has been signed, it becomes a matter of assessing the applicable labor laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Labor laws vary from country to country, and it is important to consult with a legal professional who is familiar with the employment laws in your specific location.Generally speaking, in the absence of a formal contract or offer letter, it might be difficult to establish the specific terms and conditions of your employment, including the notice period required for termination. However, it is essential to review any documents or evidence pertaining to your employment, such as emails, text messages, or any other form of correspondence that may indicate agreement on salary and employment terms. If you believe that you are entitled to one month's salary based on verbal or written agreements made during your employment, you can consider discussing the matter with your employer or escalate it to a higher authority, such as the human resources department, if applicable. To protect your rights and interests, it is advisable to consult with a legal professional who can guide you on the legal options available to you in your jurisdiction. They can assess the relevant labor laws and regulations and provide advice on the best course of action.Ultimately, the decision to move on or fight for your salary depends on your personal circumstances and the potential outcomes of pursuing legal action. It is important to carefully evaluate the situation, consider the legal and financial implications, and consult with professionals who can provide the necessary guidance and support.
