As an HR expert, I can assure you that it is absolutely okay to apply for a job in a company that you once rejected an interview with. Companies understand that circumstances change, and they often receive applications from candidates who have previously declined interview offers. Typically, companies do keep track of candidates they have called for interviews, but this information is used mainly for internal purposes and does not impact your impression at all. When you apply for a job, the company's focus is primarily on your current qualifications, experience, and fit for the role rather than any past interactions. While it's always a good idea to mention any relevant past experiences during the application process, there is no need to bring up the fact that you previously rejected an interview with the company. Instead, concentrate on highlighting your skills, accomplishments, and enthusiasm for the job you are applying for.Remember, applying for a job is a chance for you to present yourself anew and showcase your qualifications. So, go ahead and apply for that job at the company you once rejected an interview with. The company will evaluate your application based on its own merits and your potential fit for the position.
