This depends on whether you’re trying to go broad (startups) or go deep (corporate). Going deep means specialising and being very good at a few things. Going broad will not only make you skilled in many things (but not a specialist like someone in corporate), but it also has an added advantage that you tend to be a bit more strategic because you can see and are involved at a higher level.

Most important is to speak up when it is necessary and wise. Nowadays people tend to get confused between speaking up and being loud. These are two different things.

Introvert and speak up is a different thing. Someone is extrovert doesn’t means they know how to speak up. Loud with no content or substance is not speak up. Introvert can also speak up. With technology, you can speak up and express yourself thru WhatsApp. Doesn’t have to speak up in person. Definitely need to speak up and make yourself important and visible. Corporate or small company speak up is very important. If you always make yourself hidden all the time of course you will be hidden.
