What to do when employee have conflict with supervisor

I have a employee she faced a bad direct reporting as the direct reporting always change her mind on some decision and end up blaming the girl not efficient and good enough .. so the girl come to hr and find me. She said to me she really like the job and it’s a quite good experience for her as a freshman. The other colleagues are good either however the direct reporting is the CFO of the company

My suggestion, never fight fire with fire... CFO position is very2 important to an Org. Sometimes, this is bleasing in disguise. Approach the CFO nicely, jot down what she said, joke abt it when she changed her mind, hv coffee with CFO even lunch for that matter, share some of ur personal stories - making the CFO feel like he/she is like the big sister/brother to her.... hopefully things becomes better. Only those who r really crazy wud in return respond to kindness in a harsh way. Always tell ur fren... n for everybody thats reading, be kind to everyone. We only live once n we do not want to regret whatever we r doing. When our concious is clear, and we always be kind to others..... then we will be rewarded by the almighty in his very own way.

Do you do exit interview, if yes, try to compile the exit interview report for this position, and then try talk with CFO

This is quite common. I wud sgest that whenever she hv any working conversation, jot it down n clarify it with the CFO - ensuring what she ustand is exactly what the CFO wants n making it visible to her that whatever she asked for are being recorded n clarified. If still the changing persist n the CFO blaming her even after the recorded n clarified statement, then she shud escalate the matter. Wallahuallam
