I've been working for several years now. I realised that the industries and roles I've had do not quite fit me

i.e. there's no sense of purpose and I feel there's no added value for self-improvement. I have some predicaments I would appreciate to get some advice for: 1) I now know what I do not want in terms of roles/industries (audit or compliance). I prefer to be on the field than a back-end job. I am interested in the: a) Pet industry: What are the opportunities available? Are there any networks I could connect to? b) Therapy industry (specifically for people with mental health issues): What type of certification/qualification is required and where do I seek the resources from? 2) Is there any certified career coaches in Malaysia that I could seek help for my career roadblock? Thanks

well, for starters,I would suggest that you really reflect on what you would like to build a career on. I mean pet and mental health are 2 different Industries. So, try doing a mindmap about the things you would love to see happen or do for both Industries, then talk to people in both industries to understand further. Remember, interest and career could be 2 different things.

Instead of focus on what you do not want why not ask yourself what do you want? What do you love to do. What makes you excited and happy. Focus on what you don’t want and jumping to another new company or new industry to discover what else you don’t want can be a forever thing. Just focus on what you want would be easier.
