Jika maternity leave company wajib tak bayar? Sebelum sy nak berhenti sy dh tanya pd manager yg maternity leave akan dibayar.

Coz sy bg surat resign sebulan sebelum masuk kerja.. means 30/6 surat resign, 20/7 masuk kerja 29/7 last kerja tp tk dpt masuk atas sbb tertentu. Sy bg short notice tempoh 10 hari dan salary in lieu. Tp bila dpt gaji tk dpt apa yg sy expect. Bila sy tnya pd manager, manager dn HR sedang berbincang.. payslip pun sy minta tak dpt2. Sy keep tanya update dkat manager tp manager tk beri respond. Sy sbg pekerja ada hak untuk tahu.. sy cuma perlukan explaination. Apa perlu sy buat?

Based on the information provided, it appears that there may be an issue with your maternity leave payment. As an HR expert, I would advise you to follow these steps to address the situation: 1. Review employment contract and company policies: Firstly, it is important to understand your rights and entitlements as stipulated in your employment contract and company policies. Check if there is any provision regarding maternity leave and payment during this period. 2. Communicate with management: Reach out to your manager and express your concerns about the non-payment of maternity leave. Ask for an explanation regarding the delay and the reason for the ongoing discussions between your manager and the HR department. 3. Contact HR directly: If your manager is unresponsive or unable to provide satisfactory answers, contact the HR department directly. Request a meeting or send an email outlining your concerns and seeking clarification about the payment delay. 4. Document all communication: Keep a record of all your communication with your manager and HR department. This will be useful in case further action needs to be taken. 5. Seek assistance from a labor authority or union (if applicable): If the issue remains unresolved after your attempts to resolve it internally, you may consider seeking assistance from a labor authority or a union representative, if you are a member of a union. Remember that it is crucial to remain professional and calm throughout the process. By following these steps, you can take appropriate actions to address the situation and seek the explanation you rightfully deserve.
