Do I need to follow the new current offer letter

Resignation notice is usually one month after confirmation. But in my confirmation letter, it is stated that the new resignation notice had changed to 3 months. Do I need to follow it since I did not sign the letter?

If the reason is used to refuse the probationer from being confimed as a full-fledge employee as the employee refused to a proposal of variation of contract, the employee may use it as a reason for constructive dismissal claim.

No, the employer cannot do that. If the employee doesn't agree to it and sign the confirmation letter, then the employer could be deemed to have varied the employment contract.

An employee can always goes to the IR Department and claim that he or she has been constructively dismissed. However, the burden of proof is on the employee to show evidence that supports his or her claim.

Unilateral variation of contract is unlawful, unless the other party had already given consent to it. Having said that, if the court finds that the terms and conditions are loopsided and unproportionately favouring the employer, the court could overrule them and declare them to be null and void.
