Hi, do we need to prepare letter accepting an employee's resignation? even those still under probation, can leave within 24 hrs ?

do I need to prepare letter accepting his resign under this circumstance ?

The offer letter stated 14 days notice under probation period, but my boss is agree to let the employee leave today (within 24 hrs).

This one must check the offer letter first, if the offer letter stated in probation employees able to give short notice, then it is fine. If vice versa, company could raise notice on demand for the employees to demand compensation.

Resignation letter should cover the following. However, it still depends on the policy and the requiremeny 1. Responding to their resignation letter (avoid saying being forced) 2. Status of letter accepted. For resignation, employers do not have the right to reject 3. Last date of service 4. Handover procedure 5. Salary (if full or any claim) 6. Claim and other documentation
