I’m planning on a resignation and my company force me to serve the full notice period which is one month, and to compensate my remaining annual leaves, do they have the rights to do so ?

I was planning to cover up my notice period by applying my remaining annual leaves.

Suggest to discuss again with HR department. If you resign because receive offer from other organization then you can request to offset pro-rated annual leave while complete task that unable to complete and prepare also handover. If you resign because of no secure job, then they might request you to work until complete resignation notice. The best is discuss again with your HR department as they can be your middle person between you and your manager.
