Can HR give 1 month termination letter to staff?

Due to his low performance?

Most such Fixed Term Contract is self-terminating, therefore there can be no Unjust Dismissal or Termination by Employer. The employer is not obligated to inform the employee of the impending contract expiry too. Having said that, I think that it's a good practice to inform the employee in advance by written notice.
