If salary day fall on holiday, need to release it earlier

Hi. I have a question guys. My company is an oil and gas company. Our salary day is on every 26th. So if for example 26th is a public holiday or weekend, the salary should be earlier right?

We are using Ambank and even though the pay day might be PH but it can still release from company account on the day. Just if your employee is using other bank, he/she might get it only after the PH.

There is no wrong or right either your salary day have to be early or later than 26 of the month. Your company still pay the salary under sec 19.(1), which cannot be later than 7th day after the last day of the wages period.

There is one boss saying there is no such rule. He said if 26th is a public holiday, still must pay 26th or after.
