Will SOCSO pay for worker salary if they had accident

My staff had an accident while on his way go to work and he got MC for 4 days. He claimed SOCSO (Laporan Kemalangan).  So should company pay his salary? Because Socso will pay his salary right? Why will socso pay his salary? and does the claim is valid for workers that are going back home from work as well?

Company still need to pay them salary as SOCSO only paid for compasionate claim only. You can actually check via this link: https://www.perkeso.gov.my/index.php/ms/perkhidmatan-kami/faedah/akta-keselamatan-sosial-pekerja-1969-akta-4/skim-bencana-pekerjaan Claim is also valid for workers that are going back home from workplace as well.
