Is there any law or policy about unpaid leave calculation?

Yesterday i go to JTK, but one of the officer said.. it was wrong... because need to count as per calendar of that particular month.. but, our company practice is only divided by 26.. may i know is there any law or policy regarding unpaid leave calculation?

If refering to handbook...by next year only we will start giving staff handbook..also before this have no policy...

ORP (26) compulsory for replace leave in $ and OT calculation Calender days (28,29,30,31) is better for salary calculation - in which minimal deduction if any ..

For me, ORP is usually calculated for leave and prorated salary is to be based on actual days of the month.thats why it is better to divide by 26
