My boss asked me: where in the Akta Kerja 1955 had mentioned that employer cannot ask staff to take annual leave ? or where does it mentioned that annual leave is to be taken voluntarily ?

Please, check the document on annual Leave policy in the files section. There is a case that says this. The court has decided employer cannot force an employee to utilize their annual Leave. It’s for them to use at their own discretion.
