Hospitalisation MC considered as hospitalisation leave or non-hospitalisation leave?

one of my staff met an accident and he was given MC with deemed hospitalisation for 20 days

There is a difference between sick or medical leaves and hospitalisation leave. You have to look at the medical certificate carefully.

If the staff is admitted for one day for observation and then was discharged the next day with 20 MC...it should be considered as hospitalization... so you would need to find out from the staff... If the accident is during working hours or to and fro work... then you can apply for socso
