Mine different.. my staff is a foreigner and he hasn't opened an account with EPF yet but we have accidentally update his EPF EE contribution rate from 0% to 7% from April onwards. now i need to claim the refund for him。

Just share my experience or overpaid, the epf officer ask me to deduct the refund amount from next contribution, then they will do adjustment at their system. So I email and acknowledge the branch officer before do payment for next epf contribution so they know why the amount paid is different with EPForm2 uploaded.

You can go early to the office, no appointment needed. Get ready with those documents, the staff will depends on your case and either pass the documents to the receptionist, they will then give you the number of the pengawai to follow up, or they will redirect you to the counter.

call the branch and ask the refund procedure.
