Should these days treated as unpaid for salary calculation?

If staff applied or took unpaid leave, let say one week or the staff took thursday, friday and monday, in between Sat, Sun or PH, do we include these days as unpaid for salary calculation. TQ

No sat sun if its their off day & rest day count as paid. PH also same count as paid as their entitlement.
