Can we hold staff salary and release overtime and medical claim only?

I have one employee got better job. He gave us short notice , therefore payroll hold his Salary. This employee did more overtime and got some medical claim. He is now request his overtime and medical claim .

You may deduct the balance of short notice, instead of hold their rights because u might lead them to issue this matter with JTK

We cannot hold claims n ot payments. This case is real and belongs to employee

Usually for short notice, we will minus the balance short notice amount with their wages of that month and pay the balance if any. In some cases, it may be insufficient to cover the notice period. As such, send an indemnity letter to the employee to claim the balance amount.

you cannot hold claims and overtime payments. Must pay immediately. However, if the employee gave short notice you can minus the short notice amount and pay the rest soonest.
