Hi Ricebowl. I was working in a well known organization in Sarawak for 2.5 years previously. However my salary raise only a lil bit.

Before I decided to change my career path, can I ask for salary increment base on my reputation? I worked in a plywood manufacturing company previously.

Salary Increment is based on Company policy and employer will do the necessary according to

  1. employee performance
  2. skill of the job (too hard and not easy to find then is increased faster)


If most of your colleague is getting the same percentage then is consider normal in the organisation. If not, then will be unfair if you think your performance is better than your peers.
