Fresh grad can learn more with start-up companies, right?
Do you have any suggestions to search for a start-up company?

This depends on whether you’re trying to go broad (startups) or go deep (corporate). Going deep means specialising and being very good at a few things. Going broad will not only make you skilled in many things (but not a specialist like someone in corporate), but it also has an added advantage that you tend to be a bit more strategic because you can see and are involved at a higher level. Yah you can use WOBB to look for jobs, we have a mix of startups and corporates. And you can see what each company is like before applying.

You actually learn more in a big corporate company but the problem is Asian is shy. Dare not take initiative to stand out hence no opportunity to learn. In a startup with less than 12 employees you might have chance to learn more as you have access to the coaching from the founder. End of day depends on you. You can learn everything or you can learn nothing in any place and any environment. All depends on your intention.

Was a fresh grad when I found my first (current) job in a startup, and yes I agree I've learnt a lot, because the company is kept small, therefore many of us have to be able to take on various responsibilities instead of hiring 1 person for each responsibility. It's challenging but great for growth. Honestly, I'd say you could use WOBB and LinkedIn to look for startups, a majority of companies on WOBB are startups I believe. I found my job through WOBB (wasn't aiming for a startup, but I've learnt that I was actually applying to a lot of startups lol).
