I'm currently not working. If I got a job offer, can I still have the 'two weeks period' for start date?

if you not working, you can join immediately. Two weeks period is it probation period or termination period? Both period is depends on company policy & practice. If you need two weeks then only you can start work, the company can think that you are not interested to the job and assume that you have already have a job.
