Please get permanent. I am the best example. I entered a MNC as contract worker. But then they dragged and renewed my contract half year and so on.... Just before my latest contract there is a very good intern which I ask our boss to hire him to help us. Guess what..he get permanent offer and i still contract... Seriously i feel so imbalance

Permanent. Easier to negotiate for raises and promotion after a few years as permanent staff than contract.

Retrench with compensation if you're permanent. Contract = nothing

Some company offer higher salary for Contract position, but tbh, I will definitely choose the permanent position.

Contract or permanent doesnt matter, as long you got a job. Nowadays, if the company not doing good, permanent pun boleh kena retrench anytime.

Get the remuneration package info first then compare, guess work wont help anyone.

Salary wise sure contract is much higher but doesn't give u job security
