Hello. What should I answer if the employer asks "how long would you expect to work with us if you're hired?" during the interview IF I don't have a plan to work long term there.

I'm currently looking for HR field job. However, I get an interview offer for a personal assistant, that, not my first choice. I applied the position just to try my luck instead of doing nothing now.

Mostly, many company expect every candidate to be loyal with them. Why? because they giving you training and knowledge. So they treat you as their investment, so it's normal due huge amount of money & knowledge for your growth.

The reason they asked this question is because for a personal assistant have to be commit and long term is like a relationship. Besides, they have the responsible to train you from zero until a qualified personal assistant that suits them. If you not sure you want to stay long term in the company, I would advice you to think before you do the decision.
