With no experience of new field, is it okay to change?

I wish to change to another industry totally different from what I am doing currently. I do not have the necessary working experience and may need to start all over or as an internship with the company (of the new industry). However, I had taken course certification in the new field.

from a different perspective I can share that I am someone who did exactly what you were considering. I'm a qualified lawyer who was in practice for a couple of years before I decided to move from law into business and management education working for a few companies. Today I run my own business. I switched industries/ career paths and have had no regrets since.
