Staff employment less than 3 months, still in probation period. Currently she pregnant. In our Employment letter, if in probation period employer can terminate the contract within 24hours. Due to bad performance and attitude, may i know what the process we can take action and terminate her contract?

Do we need to attend courses for Labor Law?

I would like to ask is the labour law, industrial relation knowledge must attend the courses and have certificate to prove?or we can buy book to self study?

Employee still under probation period... and about to due for confirmation. Can employer end the employment on the ground of redundancy/retrenchment by just paying the notice period (not performance issue)? These ppl are less than a year of service with co. Good practice is to compensate something but what if the Mgmt refused to pay? What is the market practise on paying mutual separate or vss? A month for a year of service?
